How to prevent stroke size change when scaling

I know it is also a problem in Illustraotr but I am importing charcaters fro Illustraotr into animate and the stroke thickness chnages when I scale it up. Is there a way to not do this or a work around?

Yes, there is a way to achieve this. Simply select all of the shapes that you want to modify, navigate to the Property panel, and under the "Color and Style" section, select "None" for the "Scale"option.

You can always expand your strokes in illustrator into fills. This will prevent the stroke from changing. then copy what you want from the illustrator and paste it right into animate.
