How to scroll to a section upon MouseClick

Hi, I'm a web designer and I've had to delve into
the Flash/Actionscript field, obviously because it's the future. I have a layer of text on the screen
and I'd like to make it clickable, like a link, that takes the user down the page to a section of my choosing.

I know this can be done via JavaScript but I'm using Flash Professionalto design the site and don't think

it has any support for JavaScript...Could anybody please help me?

is this actionscript or a canvas project?

is your text in a dynamic textfield or is it static text?
