I've been using Animate for years to make HTML5 ads and this is the first time I have has an issue like this.
After the HTML5 file is export/published and I open it up in Chrome and Safari, the ad ends with the first frame instead of the last frame like it alway has in the past. I tried adding a keyframe to the last frame, but it didn't change anything. I looked through the publish options, but it doesn't say anything about ending on the first frame.
I am publishing 5 different ads, that I just created today, and all of them are acting this way. I re-opened an old ad, from a few month ago and it ends on the last frame, as it should.
Could this possible be a glitch with the new update?
I have found the answer to my own question.
1. Add a keyframe to your last frame.
2. Right click that keyframe and select "Actions" at the bottom of the menu.
3. Type "this.stop()" into the dialog box. (Do not include the quotation marks.)
4. Save and publish.
5. Double check the HTML file to make sure it worked.
I hope this can help someone else.
