HTML5 canvas audio is not heard in the browser

Hello,
with Adobe Animate in HTML5 canvas I put an audio in a frame it can be heard in play on the stage but it is not heard when I try with the browser. I tried with mp3 and wav but no browser plays it, what can be the problem?

you must have user interaction (eg, a mouse click), before your browser will (thankfully) allow sounds to play.

Does this mean that with canvas you can't have background audio? 😞
