I am having an issue importing an image into Animate CC. I created the image specifically to fit the exact size of the stage, but upon importing the file and dropping it into the timeline I find that it's actual size is ~50% larger than it should be. I checked the image and the stage parameters multiple times (both in and out of program) to find that they are both numerically the same size (1280 x 720) despite the image still dropping in larger than it should be.
In case it is relevant the image I am importing is a .png because I wanted transparency. I have tried to import separate images to avoid needing the transparency only to have the same problem.
I tried to troubleshoot the issue and checked online but found no answer to the problem. If there is a forum that already deals with this issue I apologize for a duplicate inquiry and would appreciate being directed to the proper place.
EDIT: I also tried to create an object that had the same width as the stage and came up with the same problem when I dropped it on to the stage.
Hi.
Are you by any chance using a camera with a zoom level bigger than 100%?
If not, do you mind sharing the FLA and the images with us?

DPI needs 72 points.
If the other DPI is different, the DPI conversion to 72 will be scaled even with the same resolution

I know it's been a bit since I first posted this question. Been busy.
For the DPI needing to be 72, that's not the issue. Everything is at that level. I'm still having things that are the same width as my stage, 1280, drop onto the stage ~50% larger. I created a shape in Animate CC at 1280 width and when I pulled it onto the stage it was still ~50% larger than it should be. Is there some setting that does this?
It doesn't make sense. If two things have the same pixel dimensions they should be the same size. I don't understand why the images drop in larger.

I just tested the same idea I presented before in a new document without any problems. There must be some setting, such as the camera zoom level proposed above, that was changed in my original document that I don't remember setting.
Thank you for taking the time to respond to my question.
