animate's not a 3d program.

 

importable file types: https://helpx.adobe.com/animate/using/placing-artwork.html

 

and you can always try file>import>import to stage (or library) and use file type *.* to see what you can finagle.

@Joseph Labrecque  has a rather old Behance stream that demonstrates how to include 3D objects in Animate. He answered this in another thread recently. The file must be a webGL glTF based document to work... and works strangly right now... but if your willing to do some weird stuff with it:
