I need to add hotspots to video to go to certain points in video. Output should be one mpeg4 file with all code embedded in mpeg. At the moment I import video but when I export it as video again via Adobe media Encoder I just get a blank video. When I create a simple Flash animation and add a button to go to another frame none of the interaction exports to video. Is it at all possible to import video, add some hotspots and then export video to mpeg4 again?
yes, but you can't export a video that's interactive.

@kglad is correct. You would need to have interactive elements overlaying the video content and straight video export (using any program) does not support this.

To further beat the dead horse, there is nothing in the MPEG4 standard (or any popular video standard that I'm aware of) that supports any kind of interactivity. It's not a limitation of the exporter, it's a limitation of the format itself. Video formats encode audio/video, and nothing else.

Thanks all for clearing this up. I suspected as much.
