is there a way for me to recover my accidental overwritten .fla project?

I was working on my character for my new channel and didn't name it giving it the name "untitled-1.fla" and saving it on my computer. I wanted to make a quick test animation, and accidentally saved it as "untitled-1", overwriting my character. I've tried looking through my tmp folder. I tried looking for the "RECOVER_" file. I tried looking at "window > history". nothing. this fr discouraged me. after all that work, how could I make such a simple but stupid mistake?

It's not guaranteed but you can try lost file recovery softwares like Recuva.

Not unless you saved another version somewhere else before you over wrote it. Sorry. I know the feeling.
