Community Beginner ,
May 01, 2018 May 01, 2018

I have an issue with uploading an ipa file to the app store.

The app is made with Adobe Animate.

I am using Application Loader from the Xcode on my Macbook

What can I do to solve the problem?

AIR 26 is the latest built into Animate, but you can download the current AIR 29:

Download Adobe AIR SDK

and then use the Animate Help menu, Manage Adobe AIR SDK... to add AIR 29. You can then select it in the Properties panel, and try publishing the IPA again.

I just did that yesterday. Version 9.3

The ipa file is created with Air for iOS. Could that be the problem?

You can see in the AIR 28 release notes:

Release Notes Flash Player 28 AIR 28

that it will use the iOS 11 SDK. That should still be the case with AIR 29. Make sure that you're uploading the new IPA you're making, and not one you made with AIR 26.

In Adobe Animate I changed the path in the Properties panel, to the SDK 29, but nevertheless it is using SDK 26 to compile the ipa file.

I also detected the following in the xml file: <application xmlns="http://ns.adobe.com/air/application/26.0">

So this is definitely the issue. I will give it another try by going to the HELP menu as you mentioned before.

Ah! I see now that there is a possibility to add the new SDK. This will work.
