Kept in dark about 2018 update. Pretty bad customer service

Still no information about any full updates for this year: the update in July was a Hot Fix update to specifically address a urgent crash issue & has no release notes.

Other than that we are provided no information on the next FULL update or when it will be.

Pretty bad customer service that doesn't really show that Animate give a damn about it's user base. For many of us facing certain quirks in the program and are waiting for fixes, this is hell. I was told by one of the Adobe consultants about a important quirk that needs fixing, "yeah yeah, it will be fixed in the update back in May". Well, still waiting...like a skeleton on a chair

I know I should make the jump ship, but I really didn't want to learn another program as I already know how to use Animate - and I don't mind it.

Yours in apathetic, given up frustration. What can one do.

Donna

Apologize for your experience. The product team announces updates as soon as they are ready to ship. There isn't anyone else outside of the team that can jump the queue and make the announcement.

I do understand that you have been waiting eagerly for this release, and you should see an update very soon. We request you to be patient until then.

Thanks,

Preran
