layer changing

ADOBE NEED.pngso i have a little project that im working on using a door so when open the door the people are hidden behind the door but when the move in front of the door and the door closes the are still behind him so i guess what im asking is how can i fix this problem (with his body being behind the door when its open) with out it being messy on the main time line.

create a keyframe on a layer where you want, or use actionscript to control object depths.
