Is it possible to add a loading screen for an OAM file or how can I reduce the size of a Adobe Animate file (which I converted to an OAM file)? What would be the best approach for a smaller file?
Right now my file is taking too long to load onto the screen.
An OAM file is a zip file that packs all the necessary assets into an Assets folder, and includes some configuration information in an XML document.
Try replacing the extension of .oam to .zip, and see the content inside of it.
You will find in zip file assets, js xml etc files. For reducing the OAM file you need to reduce assets size or exclude the effects from your project fla file for reducing "code" in js file

Hey,
This query is best suited for the Animate forum, hence moving it to Adobe Animate CC - General
Thanks,
Ankush

In publishing from Animate there is preloaded option, which I think will just include an animated GIF where the main file will appear when it's loaded.
All of the images are in an external folder, and if you do What Ares suggested you could go into the folder and use a site such as tinypng.com to optimize the images, then zip the file and rename it back to .oam. That should make it load quicker.
