Hey,
I've read previous discussions on how Adobe Media Encoder is unable to import a file from Animate CC and how NOT having QuickTime installed on your computer often is the reason why.
I have QuickTime installed (and updated) and still Media Encoder won't open my file. I work on a Mac.
My goal is to convert my animation in Animate CC to a HD-video.
Help is much appreciated!

The issue with QuickTime not being installed is pretty well always a Windows one. QuickTime abilities are part of macOS, I'm not even sure if you can remove it!
So, there isn't really a reason it is not working, unless it's failing at an earlier stage. Can you do a Test Movie, and see the SWF playing ok?
If you can, try unchecking the box to do with sending the video to Adobe Media Encoder. Do you then get an MOV file, that plays in QuickTime Player (and looks the same as your SWF)?
What do you plan on doing with the file? If you're going to take it into After Effects or Premiere, or if you're going to upload it to YouTube or Vimeo, you could use the MOV file and not send it through Adobe Media Encoder.

Hi Colin, thank you for your answer!
The SWT runs fine. But QuickTime will not open the MOV file.
That's why I want to run it through Media Encoder, buuuut....... 🙂
My plan is to use it in Premiere Pro. It's my first time using Animate CC and it's possible I'm doing something wrong in the exporting process or have overlooked some settings.

The file should import into Premiere ok, but then it should have played in QuickTime Player. Are you able to post the shortest possible MOV file somewhere, so I can see what settings it may have wrong?

I see now, that when I export it from Animate the duration of the movie is 00:00, so that explains it. Just don't know why.
Argh.

In the export what settings do you use?

File -> Export Video -> Render Size: 1920 x 1080, Stop exporting: When last frame is reached.
I've unclicked the Covert Video in Media Encoder box.
