In Adobe Animate (2021), I am attempting to import a pixel art animation. When I try to select multiple images in the library and try to turn off smoothing in their properties, no matter how many times I turn it off, it doesn't change. However, when I only select one image in the library and deselect the box for turning off smoothing, it changes immediately. Can someone tell me how I can fix this problem or just turn off smoothing by default?
1. Select one image in the Library, invoke Properties and choose the desired settings. Press OK.
2. Select all other bitmaps by clicking on the first, holding down Shift and clicking on the last one. Press Ctrl+Y on the keyboard (repeats what you did to the first one).

Hello, I don't see the issue on my end.
Remember to check the boxes next to the Smoothing and Compression settings, otherwise the properties won't change.
If the problem persists, then perhaps it was a bug in Animate 2021. Try a different version and see if it works.

I’ve faced the same issue while working on a <extraneous reference removed - kglad> animation in Animate — turning off smoothing for each bitmap was crucial to keep the pixel art sharp. I had to do it one by one too, which was frustrating. Wish Adobe Animate had a batch toggle! If anyone found a fix or workaround, I’d love to hear too.
