Hi, I love the new version and seems a lot more stable on mac than previous versions so thanks!
Quick question: One of the more interesting features to me is new workflow with After Affects. If I were to import a .fla to AE 2019 would I have the same control over each layer and asset so I could scale and animate the vectors in AE? (Sometimes my friend animates my AI files in AE but this would be more direct as I prefer to create in Animate.) Also, would my friend be able to click Create Shapes from Vector Layer in AE which he sometimes needs to do for certain animations?
I believe it brings each layer in as a rendered SWF to After Effects.

Ahh ok. I guess will have to test. We are reluctant to update AE in the middle of a project due to issues in the past.
We had problems before when importing SVGs as it made each layer with blank space around the contents all the way out to the stage size making them unusable for animation (imagine trying to animate a forearm but the box around it is the size of the stage...) Hoping that this will be different and a really fluid workflow.

The tutorial video shows this happening, but I've tried it in loads of different ways and it hasn't worked once! Saving a simple FLA and importing as footage just fails every time, this is a real mess 😞
