Hello. Why can't I erase the area around the character? I can't draw on this area and on the character itself. this is my first animation and I don`t know what to do with it

click the selection tool (solid arrow) and then double click your character. edit your character shapes.

No, it didn't work. I still can't draw and I can't erase a drawing
what do you see after double clicking?
that's not double clicked.
if you can't manage that, click edit > edit selected while character is selected (which it currently is)
