Publish Animate HTML5

Hi! I've been using Adobe products for 10 years but I'm brand new to Animate—mainly using it to make HTML5 ads. My file works great when I go to Control > Test. But when I publish it, the button stops working and loses the hover effect. Any solutions? Thank you!

Hi.

You need a server to run your content. When you test from within Animate, it setups one automatically for you.

One more question: Is there a way to create a preview link to show clients? I can't find anything from my research, but you can do it from Google Web Designer.

upload your published files to a file server and send your client a link to the html file.
