Responsive HTML5 banners with a window-filling background image

I want to make a responsive HTML5 banner. So far so good. Now the entire browser window should be filled with a background image. There should be no white streaks visible at any time. The background image should practically be behind the stage and should always adapt completely to the browser window.

Does anyone have an idea?

For the responsive part, in your Publish Settings (File > Publish Settings) for your HTML5 Canvas document, in the Basic section, select Make responsive before you publish.

 

That setting makes the content on the stage responsive.
