Rounded Corners on Rectangles

How do you create a rectangle with rounded corners using Adobe Animate?

There is nothing to grab in the corners when I select the rectangle.

There is no property that allows you to set a pixel size for the corner rounding.

Please help. This must be simple and I'm missing something.

Use the so called "Rectangle Primitive Tool". It is a sub-tool of Rectangle.

The shape created by it will stay editable until you break it apart.

It is simple and you are missing something. With the Rectangle tool selected, direct your eyeballs to the bottom of the Properties panel.

Thanks very much. It would seem that you cannot change the shape of a rectangle after it has been added to the canvas. You have to make the changes to the properties before adding the rectangle.

I had the same issue...what i did wrong was that i used the stroke tool before and so i still had the stroke to high...if you set stroke to the lowest you should have normal corners again
