Start/Stop Buttons

My teacher wants us to: Create a working Flash project that demonstrates movement, and includes speed changes based on keyboard input as well as a stop/go function based on mouse input.

I got the keyboard speed change down I am just having trouble with the stop/go function. He wants it to be a movie clip and not a button.

You code a movieclip to work as a button the same way you would code a button.
