Stop animate from converting simple shapes to PNGs

New Here ,

Hello,

I am facing a problem with a animation in which I have a lot of simple square shapes. When I publish the project, animate is exporting them automatically to pngs which is totally stupid (regarding filesize, performance and number of files).

How can I prevent that?

And why is it doing that?

I would really appreciate some help here.

Thanks.

[EDIT to my previous post as it is pointless to keep wrong information in the forum.]

Hi mate,

From what you say, I assume that you are talking about HTML5/Canvas.

The dialog has changed in AA 20 compared to previous versions.

To not convert to texture/spritesheet, choose 'Image Assets'

Thank you very much! I hadn't been familiar with that option.

Have a nice day!
