(This may be a topic for unsupported software and possibly be of effect from external tools I have used)
Also, I am sorry if this is the wrong place to post this here but I did not know where else to post this except in Flash's successor.
So over the course of several months, I have been attempting to use Blender for the creation of sprites to be used in Macromedia Flash 8 Professional. This process has involved exporting the .blend file into an .svg format to then .swf format by the SVG2SWF converter script as to transfer vector images onto Flash without suffering distortions as in bitmap tracing a png.
Opening these new SWF files with Flash Player 8 looks normal, nothing different as I can see the image. However, importing the files onto Macromedia Flash 8 itself results in a blank graphic being imported (All I get is the centerpoint); or with a black & white test image I got off a browser to test, the colors being inverted.
I am aware that this possibly can be because of flaws from the tools I used to convert the file, however it would be nice if I could potentially solve this and save alot of trouble if it is Macro Flash 8 sided.
Another miscellanious thing is that this svg2swf converter was tested on an alternative computer rather than the one I primarily use, in which the alternative has Flash Player 8 whilst the primary does not. Incase this may bring any difference if I converted a file on the primary and imported it onto Macro without Player.
(Also if Animate can be purchased rather than subscribed, that would be splendid as I could switch to that for more convenient animating.) Thanks.
