The new version(20.5) update has caused performance degradation. Long loading time.

This is a problem in the latest version of 20.5v of Animate CC.

PC specifications

CPU- i7-8700 3.2GHz

GPU- RTX 2080

16GB RAM

When I copy and paste a symbol or object, a lag occurs.

From the previous version, there was a loading time when copying and pasting symbols with many original frames, but there was no loading when copying and pasting regular objects.

However, in the latest version, when I copy and paste a light symbol or a single object, a lag occurs.

After testing, the more objects in a project, the longer the loading time when trying to paste.

When copying a simple image using Alt, I have to wait too long for loading. This is very inefficient.

The video below is a video recording the experiment of copying and pasting group objects, drawing objects, and symbol objects in various situations.

Copy/duplicate drawing/object/symbol,
Frame/layer copy or duplicate, move
They all have the same loading time.

One peculiarity is that when I click on the object and use the'distribute to layer' function, the work is done immediately.

Similar to this, inserting a frame or keyframe into a large symbol or object is done immediately. (No loading)

It seems like a heavy loading occurs when you duplicate something on the clipboard.

I don't know why this suddenly happened,
We hope that optimization will be done as soon as possible.

Same Problem. I always like to keep all my adobe programs up to date but Animate always seems to be the exception. With every update I don't get anything new and a lot of things break 😕

I've went back to 20.0.3 and the performance is better.
