This update is a nightmare

At least 40 crash in a day with the new update of animate, i can't work : the ide close  when i cut copy, or duplicate a clip on the stage !! Can't work with that ! what can we do ? Core i7 with 16 gb Ram, i don´t understand... Crash with illustrator 2019 too... Help !

Do a clean install of Adobe Animate after uninstalling with the CC cleaner: Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems

Mine hasn't crashed at all (not even when in beta). Wonder if a reinstall or preferences wipe would help?

Same here actually (no crash for far) but I still keep the working version in case something bad happens.

Hello,

Since the last update of animate cc, I have crashes regularly as soon as I duplicate objects on the scene or when I drop an object from the library on the scene... Re-creating the preferences doesn't work, I have to delete the folder c:\Users\myName\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Adobe\animate so that the problem is fixed... temporarily, since I have to do the manipulation again every 2 or 3 days... Does anyone have any idea how to get me out of this? I uninstalled the old versions, uninstalled and reinstalled the new one, but nothing works...

Animate CC 2019 is totally unusable on both mac and pc at the moment. Why is there no announcement about this? Support on this forum are pretty much useless. For any one having issues simply roll back to the last stable (sic) release.

I was starting to lose my mind at one point with all the weird ass bugs.

We're simply not seeing a ton of this. I've been using the latest version for months on both platforms with little to no crashing. But as Preran mentioned, a full clean and reinstall should solve it. Sorry this has been a struggle for you.
