I have a 144MB Animate CC 2018 file with 290 frames that includes a 30MB video at the end. It tests fine in Animate, in the Browser (Chrome), and on publishing. I needed to make a small correction in the video so I did so and reinstalled it. It tests fine in Animate, in the Browser, but it doesn't work on publishing. Instead, the skinning is the only thing that appears and it shows the green/gray diagonal lines moving right to left in the progress bar. Both swf files are only 58MB. I tried opening it in IE and Firefox but it doesn't work there either....What could I have lost to make it behave like this? I don't think it's a memory problem.

After editing your video, did you re-encode it to an .h264 or .flv file? Is this an external file external video file you are pointing to? Are there any non-standard character names in the file path or file name?

good questions...the revised video was exported from Premiere as an MP4 just like its predecessor, and took a standard accretion name, from "sequence 01_6" to "sequence 01_7"....it is external and in the same place as its predecessor, with the .fla file.
