Walk animation doesn't work (exercise)

Hello, I am trying to build the following exercise, but the charachter doesn't move his foots (step 1 till 3):

In the video step 3 I can  see that the character walks but when I move the character from here to the field and try to test, the feet doesn't move.

for any movieclip on stage, double click it to see/edit (on) its timeline.

 

you can also locate a movieclip in your library and double click it to set/edit (on) its timeline.

the moving feet need to be a movieclip to display movement when testing on a one frame timeline.  if they are a graphic, you need to extend that timeline.

i have no idea what you mean by "character".

 

what's on that movieclip's timeline?  that's what you'll see when testing/publishing the fla that has that movieclip on the main timeline.
