About time I upgraded to Adobe Animate 2021. However, I appear to be experiencing a bit of, a weird bug going on.

This appears to be a recurring thing for any preview that doesn't appear to be a solid color. It's displayed as a really weird glitchy preview with jumbled pixels that seem to flash quite rapidly. This case applies to:

- Previewed gradients

- Line style and width

- Swatches with gradients or bitmaps

I'm using the most recent version of Animate, and I'm on MacOS Big Sur. I'm unsure how to fix this. Please help. It's really hard to focus with this.

Oof. I tend to push off Apple updates as long as humanly possible because, well, Catalina taught me that. This seems like a conflict with Big Sur. I would try uninstalling AnCC and reinstalling now that Big Sur is installed and see if that solves it. On Mac, I don't think you can update display drivers separately like you can on Windows.
