So the video shows clearly what's happening. We can't figure it our and we are looking for someone to point us in the right direction.
It's a side scroller that works just fine when it's on frame 1.
We go to add a title page but just add blank frames and put everything on frame 2 and the program freaks out.
If we add frames AFTER the main page it freezes up.
Like I said, the video shows it prety clearly.
Thank you for any help.

Hi.
What version of Animate are you using? It's just a shot in the dark, but what happens if you turn off advanced layers (Ctrl/Cmd + J)?
If that's not the problem, do you mind sharing a link to your FLA here or via private message?
Please let us know.
Regards,
JC

Hi JC,
We've tried it in multiple versions of Animate. (2019, 2021 amd 2022)
Here it is with Multiple Frames (which SHOULD work, but freaks out):

Here it is with the Single Frame (Working but you cannot add any frames before or afterwards):

We HOPE it's just something simple like a piece of random code or something on the same layer.
Thank you for your help!

Hmm, Turning Off Advanced Layers DID WORK!
However we were going to use the Parenting of layers later on...

Nice!
So you're gonna need another version of Animate. If you're not using the latest one, I suggest you to upgrade if possible.

We are in the most current version. Are you saying that we can't use Advanced Layers?
There shouldn't be anything in the code causing this. We have other prototypes with the exact same code and advanced layers that don't cause this weird issue.

You can use them. I told you to update because advanced layers used to be very buggy in older versions of Animate.
One possible solution for you is to put all of your code and artworks inside of a Movie Clip so that there won't be any conflict in the main timeline.
