I recently got back into adobe animate and I can't find the filter option. As originally seen, it would be in the Properties panel and under the frame tab. However it isn't there. My workspace is basic, so I haven't changed  anything at all.

I believe it is HTML5 Canvas since whenever I save a project it appears as "Project name.fla (Canvas)"

It should be at the bottom of the Properties panel, when you are in the Object tab.

Make sure you have a object type that supports filters selected, basically either a Movie Clip or Button.
