Why There Is not a Opacity Controller due to Pen Pressure?

OMG guys! In Photoshop, I can control my brush opacity with pen pressure. Buuut in Animate I cannot do that basic thing. WHY? I think it is a big joke. I can control the size but I cannot control the opacity. I searched a lot. REALLY SEARCHED A LOT!! And are you guys really serious? I am predicting it should take TWO LINES OF CODE. You did with the size, now do it with the opacity. It is REALLY ANNOYING!! I think some developer needs to this. I mean REALLY, YOU GUYS DID NOT ADD THAT TO ANIMATE, REALLY???

I would imagine it's harder than it looks. In Photoshop, you're just dealing with pixels so this is trivial, however unlike Photoshop, Animate is a vector program, with a completely different drawing engine. You can only have opacity in two ways: reducing the alpha value of the swatch, or with symbol color effects. To have something like this, Animate would have to keep each stroke into separate objects, and even then, the end result would be limited since most likely it'd be the same opacity le

You seem to be very knowledgeable how many lines of code are necessary to implement certain features.

This probably wasn't meant to be a joke, but I found it very funny.

Yeah I am very knowledgeable with the lines of codes. Beside the jokes, I am just guessing man. I think only thing to do for this make happen is switching the size variable in the code with opacity variable just copying the method for "controling the size with pressure". I think there is something beyond this easy implemantation. It is for make us to use Photoshop I think. Marketing strategy? You are better than that Adobe come on!

You can, actually. I saw someone do it in a video on YouTube.

I don't know, personally. But it's out there.

Please show me because I searched a lot but couldn't find anything. Even the answer I found was "There is no option for that".

I found it for you.

I'm very, very new, but here is a link to the guy I've been watching:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-woaDyBXkyU

Goto 10:03. There he talks about brushes. But I also found a link that may help you as well:

Good luck!

Thanks but I couldn't find the solution. They are for size control not for hardness or opacity as I understand. Thanks anyway.

again, adobe suggestions have greater effect if made elsewhere.

for applicable apps, you can make (some) suggestions to adobe here, https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html

You can only have opacity in two ways: reducing the alpha value of the swatch, or with symbol color effects. To have something like this, Animate would have to keep each stroke into separate objects, and even then, the end result would be limited since most likely it'd be the same opacity level across the entire stroke; then there's the issue of the paint bucket fill that requires all lines to be flattened to function, once the lines are flattened, bye, bye variable opacity.

I don't know what it would take to make true pressure-sensitive opacity levels on the same stroke...it seems simple, until you realize, no vector program does this, none of them.

I never thought like this. It seems logical now but it is still annoying, there needs to be an option for this vector thing I think. Maybe I am thinking stupidly, I don't know. Thanks by the way, now I got it.
