WHY WONT MY AUDIO WORK???

I have tried importing some 7 min audio into an animate file, and no matter what i try, it just doesnt work. i have gone back, to different versions, tried switching from wav to ANYTHING ELSE, and i tried using debug but that didnt work at all! somebody please help me. i have an animated project dues by tuesday.

try a different sound file.  does that work?

Make sure the audio sample rate is 44.1 khz, 16bit before importing. Use Adobe Audition to convert the audio, if that's not an option, use Audacity or a free online tool like https://onlineaudioconverter.com/
