Will .FLA files created in Animate 2019 be backwards compatible?

My subscription auto-updated but my school does not update their software until summer break. Will I need to roll back my home version or will I be okay going to and from school between versions?

you'll be ok.   (and you can always install both the latest version and the school version if they are major version differences.)

you can expect a warning about any new features used at home (with the newer version) won't be available if the fla is opened at school (with the older version).
