When I used the 3d rotate tool in a motion tween on a coin png it looks pretty good but when i use it on a circle shaped vector graphic it spins off center. Anyone else ever have this issue? Sometimes the x or y 3d rotate looks a bit whobbly. (See attached)
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks.

create a new layer/keyframe with your circle
note your circle's width=height (and make it a whole number)
use the 3d rotation tool and click your circle
use the transform panel to move the 3d center point to your circle's center
create your tween
(and instead of a swf, embed an animated gif.)

Thanks. Yes I understand how to setup the 3d rotate and checked that the circles have correct width and height but if you take a look at this you will see the quarter spins well, but the two faces do not spin on the centers perfectly and they turn oval at one point. Is it just an optocal illusion?

i don't see a problem but i do notice my gif is tweening smoother than yours (which shows a sudden abrupt change when the reverse side is displayed) instead of the smooth transition shown by mine.
