Adobe Animate Lagging Computer

For whatever reason, Adobe Animate starts to horribly lag my computer after a while, even after I shut down the program. 

I have to restart my computer for it to fix it.

I have uninstalled and installed, even tried different versions of Animate but the problem keeps happening. My other apps don't do this. 

Specs: 

Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-9700K CPU @ 3.60GHz 3.60 GHz

32 Ram

RTX 2070

installed on 2 tb MVMe

what does activity monitor or task manager show?

Those are solid specs - I have an older Win 64bit machine with an old 1080 Nvidia card that performs great even with huge Premiere Pro projects. So I suspect it's got to be a 3rd party application. Do other Adobe applications run slow?
