Anchor Point Problem

Hello, I'm new here so this migh be my mistake. I tried to build a character in Animate, so while bluiding the hands I had to change the anchor points so they would rotate in a natural way. I did that but every time I select another shape, the anochor point is reseted to the old one. So I really can't build my character. Here's a short video:

Hi mate, The elements have to be turned into Graphic Symbols, not kept as raw vectors.In Animate terminology the point should be called Transformation point. The elements have to be turned into Graphic Symbols, not kept as raw vectors.

In Animate terminology the point should be called Transformation point.

 

For a solid foundation and to avoid wasting time with bad practices, I would suggest you read these three articles:
