Imported a multi-layered PSD of a bug into Animate,
the head and body worked fine with the Assest Warp pin,
the legs do not work, for no apparent reason;
each PSD layer is on its own Animate layer,
checking with the tutorial, I converted the bitmaps to movieclip symbols.
When you hover over the item with the Asset Warp pin there is a little No Entry symbol.
Why would one layer work and not another?
Makes no sense.

maybe they're strokes and not shapes?

Thanks for you reply but that was no help. I haven't asked about shapes or strokes.

It's funny in a way that it is (I think) an insect that you are manipulating. Talking about a bug in Animate can have a couple of different meanings.
I don't know why the legs would be different. Are you able to show a small example file?

Thanks for the reply Colin.
A screenshot would show the head and body and legs on their own layers (Created as a PSD then imported into Animate ((it's still hard not calling it Flash)) ).
I'll assume this new Asset Warp tool must still be in development.
I can animate it with asset warp in Photoshop but the Tweening does make it move more smoothly.
A bug is apt, yes.
