Animate Crashing

Im having trouble getting Animate to work, whenever I open the app it automatically freezes and I cant do anything on it, if I press any buttons or even try to click the X to close down the window im not able to and im hit with the windows bing noise. The only way I can close down the app is by ending the task in task manager...if anyone knows a way to help that would be really useful thank you.

Hi - Which version of Animate are you facing this issue with? Are you on Windows or Mac? From the description it looks like some modal dialog is open but not visible to you - does pressing Esc helps in that case?
