Hi, I have just started using Adobe Animate having made the switch from Flash. Can you tell me if I export to HTML5 rollover buttons will only work on a server or the testing environment and not when viewed locally? Thanks in advance.

Yes. As you've surely noticed in the Output window every time you publish:

Content with both Bitmaps and Buttons may generate local security errors in some browsers if run from the local file system.

Thanks for the swift reply.

I have a set of images that when individually rolled over has some text appears and is hidden when the user rolls out of the image.

If I host the files on a web server, either locally or remotely or if I test it within Animate - everything works fine.

But if I navigate to them and view them from my hard drive,  i.e C://My_Documents/myfile.html - everything is in place but when I roll over a image the text that should appear doesn't.

Thanks again in advance.
