Animate Text Input component not typing in Microsoft Edge brower

I embedded an Animate CC .oam file into my HTML file. The animation has text input components but they will not accept any keystrokes in an Edge browser. Works fine with IE and Chrome. Does anyone have an idea as to why I can not type in the text input components in Microsoft Edge?
