Asset warp flickering when testing in browser

Hi,
I'm having an issue with the asset warp feature and hopefully someone here knows how to solve it.
I'm working in an HTML5 canvas. I made a simple asset warp animation with classic tweens inside a movie clip. in case it is important to know: the artwork has gradients applied in illustrator and is pasted in from there. No strokes.
It previews fine inside Animate CC, but when previewing with the browser (chrome), it flickers. It looks like all the frames play in a row without any spacing or tweens, and it loops like that.

I tried the same procedure using a graphic symbol instead, but the issue remains. I thought maybe it was because of the nesting, so I tried animating in the main scene but no luck.
Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Unfortunately I need those, but you are right that it's most likely the problem. I ended up converting the tweens to keyframes as suggested on another forum. That fixed the issue. Thanks for your answer!
