Audio only plays when I click the Play button on MacOS

Hi, how's it going?

Ever since I've updated to the latest version of MacOS, the audio function has been off. Audio only plays when I first open up the program, but if I play audio from iTunes, Spotify, Safari, etc. It'll begin to mute the audio. I click the play button and it begins to play but music from iTunes or Spotify begin to play with it. So When I pause the iTunes music, it pauses audio playing in Animate as well. Not sure how to troubleshoot this. Anyone else have this problem?

i don't understand what you're trying to describe but is there a reason you posted this in the animate forum?
