Best stage size?

Hi. We are creating educational games to run on school digital boards. At the moment we are using a stage size of 1280, 740. Is that OK/ standard? It's resizable but I am using some pngs, so I don't want them to pixelate.

I have found the answer in the forum.

This link is so important. I think one of the most important parts is that if we use bitmaps in our movies to use 200% size. So that they look good when scaling up to a larger screen or exporting for video.

Whatever resolution you pick, it should be the same aspect ratio as your school's digital whiteboards.
