Blue Squares Popping up Everywhere when Selecting?

Normally when I select something it just highlights it but now I have all these blue squares that pop up everywhere. I dont know if I clicked something on accident. It's making the fill bucket impossible to use. What is it and How do I turn it off?

Hi mate,

You must have accidentally enabled Object Drawing and the result is many Drawing Objects, not raw vector shapes. 

Break Apart everything down to raw vector and disable Object Drawing to prevent this from happening again.
