I can`t hear audio in Animate cc! I tried all! I chose all the possible options in the audio settings, I went trhough all the choices in the audio frame settings, I tried all the audio file formats, I tried all the projects formats, I tried everyrhing AND NOTHING CHANGED! when I make SWF file the audio doesn`t play, when I choose just to play audio it doesn`t play, when I choose "stream" in audio settings and try to play it trough frames IT DOES NOT PLAY! Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? (sorry for caps I am just sick and tired of this all)

I'm starting to think you are on Windows and there's some small setting with your system's audio driver or maybe an aftermarket audio card. Have you tried playing around with your system settings?

Thank you Keyframer! This solved my problem . . . I was frustrated with having it set to AS3 AND Streaming but still not revealing audio. I set the file to 48kHz and the bit rate to 24 from 32 then saved as .wav file. Animate imported fine and now I can scrub and hear it as I do so!! Many thank yous.

Yes, I noticed that sound doesn't work the same in an html 5 doc as it does in a as3 doc.

I've noticed the 41000 posts too and I have been confused also. The only thing I can think of is that I'm using 32bit sounds. But my caveman animator brain hasn't figured out if that has anything to do with it. I'm on a mac but I do believe this is an issue on my WIN machine at home.

Current users who have updated to 22.0.3, sound is broken completely and you are advised to downgrade to previous version until it's fixed.

How am I suppose to downgrade when I've never had a previous version of adobe animate? I'm using this software for a class project and all my work so far would be horrible to lose. I can't hear any audio and that was the whole purpose of my project: n-lip syncing within animation.

Go to your Creative Cloud app and you'll see "previous versions" available for install on the far right of the Animate section.
