In addition to what Kglad asked, can you answer the following for us:

- The OS that you are on

- The version of OS

As initial troubleshooting try clearing preferences Re-create preferences

See if your graphic drivers are up to date by visiting the manufacturer's site.

If that did not help, try doing a clean install of  Adobe Animate using Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems,  reinstall the software.
