Change colour of bitmap fill

Hi there, im looking for a way to change the colour of a bitmap fill. 

I want to add texture to my 2D animation, i want to import an image to use as a 'texture' and then be able to change the colour of this image in animate cc. 

Example: Bojack horseman uses watercolour texture, I want to be able to import watercolour texture to a shape and then change the colour etc 

Is this possible ? Many thanks

animate is not a bitmap editing program. 

animate can edit vectors and can convert bitmaps to vectors.

Yes

You can use a layer of your animation as a mask or fill with a bitmap color importing your image.
