Controlling audio in Canvas

Is there no simple way to control an audio clip in HTML5 Canvas using the Code Snippets.

Seems such a simple requirement that you could start, skip and stop an audio clip using a button click somewhere like you can with a video file.

i don't see a snippet.  use the sound api, https://createjs.com/docs/soundjs/classes/Sound.html

Do you know if on the roadmap at all, seems a big gap in a digital media tool.

i don't really know, but you can google it.  i wouldn't expect much useful info though: adobe's not the most forthright company.
