Hey so I noticed whenever i use the "convert lines to fill" option it deletes some of the linework I'm trying to merge together. I've used "combine objects>union" but it still doesn't help with the paintbucket tool for coloring. I'm stuck basically usign the brush to color in manually for about half my shapes. Please help?Capture.JPGCapture1.JPG

If you're trying to close gaps by merging so that you can use the Paint Bucket Tool, you can instead try setting the size of the gap that you can leave and still be able to fill it. When you have the Paint Bucket Tool selected, go below the fill and stroke in the Tools panel. You'll see a box with a triangle to the lower right of it. Click on it to change it from Don't Close Gaps to Close Small Gaps, Close Medium Gaps, or Close Large Gaps.
