CTRL+E no longer takes me past the first symbol

Hi,

I used to use the CTRL+E shortcut regularly to go into symbols and edit them, but since updating to Animate 2020 this only takes me into the first level of symbols. Pressing it again takes me back out into the scene.

I'm working in Animate projects with quite a few movieclips nested within each other so I'd like to continue using the shortcut to keep going deeper into the symbols. Is this no longer possible?

Thanks
