Equivalent of the Deco Tool in Animate?

Hello.
I'm looking for an equivalent of the Deco Tool in Animate. I used to find it very useful in Flash to be able to easily create repeating grids like the screen shot below. I don't really want to have to do it in Illustrator and import it.
Is there anything which will create graphics like this in Animate?
Thanks.

Hi Cathy,

Try exploring the Paint Brush tool and the Brush Library. You can create custom brushes.

Or you can create patterns using nested symbols and the Align panel.

Thank you for replying Nick. I used to know Flash very well and I'm grateful that Animate is quite similar, but some things are missing and there are features I'm not familiar with. I'm going to have to learn HTML5 instead of ActionScript for example. I'll follow your suggestions. They look hopeful!
Best wishes,

Cathy.
